I needed some sandals that had good support that I could walk for long periods of time while wearing and not feel like my feet were broken the next day that were also reasonably priced so when I found these I decided they weren’t too ugly and decided to give them a try. I was a little worried I’d get blisters from the straps rubbing on my overly sensitive feet since almost every pair of shoes gives my feet blisters so I prepared when I wore them the first time and made sure to bring my blister pads and friction stick to protect my feet but I never ended up needing any of the items I collected over the years in my weak feet kit I carry with me. They were way more comfortable than I had expected them to be and had enough support so I wasn’t bedridden then next day after walking a few miles while wearing them. The rope like straps were softer than I expected so didn’t rub or chafe my sensitive skin. Being able to adjust the straps definitely helps with that. I’m very happy with my purchase and will probably buy more so I have more color options for next summer.I wear an 8 - 8.5. I prefer an 8.5 for comfort. I don’t want to buy an 8 because I was afraid it would be too small and After reading the reviews I thought I should go with a size 9, but I was hesitant to buy a size 9. It took me several months to commit and now I’m glad I did. I just got this shoe in the mail today and tried it on. They are so comfortable I decided not to take them off. I’ll just wear them the rest of the day. This is a nice sandal and very cute.I love Plaka sandals and was very disappointed in this pair. They are definitely comfortable and cute (more so than the flat sandals I've purchased previously). They came in a plastic bag and had little cuts and tiny holes above where my toes are--it shows, otherwise I wouldn't care as much. Seems quality or at least shipping them in a plastic bag is not as nice as the cloth bags I've previously received their sandals in.I have another pair of Plaka sandals & loved them. This second pair is just as good! They are super light weight & comfortable to wear, even for long walks. It takes just a day or so to let the cloth straps stretch out to fit your foot, so bear that in mind. But, once they mold to your feet, they're customized & feel great. Recommend these very highly.I bought these to wear to work, they're cute enough to look good with a summer outfit but also supportive enough to walk a couple of miles in. I like to take a 2-mile walk every day during a break from work, and I was looking for sandals like this so I didn't have to change into my sneakers for the walk. These fit the bill.Received the shoes today, and put them on right away. I had read reviews that said order a size up. I’m glad I didn’t! I ordered my size (7), and they fit great. If I had gone up a size, they would flop around. They are super lightweight, and seem to have good arch support. We’ll be taking a two week trip soon, and I hope to wear them quite a bit. I also like the color. It’s neutral so I can wear them with different colors. Really pleased with these so far!I have recently discovered this brand of sandals. This pair is my second purchase in the brand. I love the arch support and the easily adjusted straps. I have very skinny feet and don't often find shoes or sandals that will fit. I live my life in flip-flops here in South Texas. It works for me most of the time, so no problem. But finding something other than flip-flops to wear is a treat. I am already buying my third pair of this brand and loving them all.I received my order ahead of time (even when I chose expedited shipping since I have a flight to catch next week).At first I was concerned about sizing since a lot of the complaints I see in the review are how the sandals are not adjustable.To my delight, the sandal fit just right! It was snug enough that I felt like it was secured in place when I have to walk around. I didn’t have issues fitting into the straps! It should be noted that I’m not narrowed feet. I think I have wide feet. Objectively, I might be between medium and wide. I normally wear 6.5 but had no issues with wearing the 7 as recommended.I bought this for an upcoming vacation in Morocco, I’ll be doing a lot of hiking, sightseeing so I’ll post an update once I get some usage during my trip :)I just wish they also offered the sandals with a canvas/jute-like shoe bag similar to the one the plaka palm sandals came with. This is packaged in a resealable bag that you can reuse.
