An update regarding replacement order- Talk about going above and beyond for the customer!!! These shoes are so spectacularly glorious. As mentioned, Mikaraka management reached out to me regarding the issue with the toe straps being way too big and that they would contact the supplier to correct this. The issue was indeed not only resolved but Mikaraka was incredibly thoughtful and considerate and shipped me a free pair of shoes to live the difference and know it was resolved!! Thank You to a management team that still puts customers first!! And let me say, I am LOVING my shoes and can’t wait for a jaunt out with them. I feel as if i am not even walking in heels they are so comfy. Jeans, miniskirts, shorts, sundresses… dress up or not, these are definitely a go-to pair of shoes. (I’ll paraphrase the conversation here so you may share in the experience and shop with confidence!!)- I was emailed by a Mikasashoes representative, shortly after I posted my review about the toe straps (see below), that they wished to address my issue, that satisfaction is important to them and they would like to work on a resolution. I emailed back I was grateful for the response and consideration but was unsure how this particular issue could be resolved but I was open to suggestions. They returned that they looked into the manufacturing issue and it has now been resolved. Furthermore, they would like to send me a free pair of shoes, they wished that I have a good purchase experience and thanked me for helping them become a better seller. (total wow!) me- thank you so much for the thoughtfulness and conscientiousness to create a much better experience for me as well as others in the future regarding the manufacturing issue... I shall happily and gratefully accept the generous offer… Their service is to be commended… My bestie loves the leopard pair (we love to amazon shop for each other and “together”! Quote from their reply- “I believe you will love this "update summer wedges" because they are really cute and you must deserve to own it, own it and break them in now with your bestie when new baby arrive!!”My first review- heading-"very largely loose in the toes" review- the ankle strap great. the texture of the shoes lovely. i wanted very much to have these shoes. alas, i could fit 2 of my fingers between the tops of my toes and the straps across the toes. just way too big. the length was great. i wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5. maybe this was a "bad batch"?? but you would have to be fairly large in the toe area to make up the size of the gap i had. super disappointing. loved them otherwise but they have to go back.The shoes are really good quality. They look just like the picture. I love the height they give me and they’re pretty comfortable to wear. The only thing I wish was different are the straps around the top of my foot; they’re pretty large. I wear a size 8 and the size 8 fit, perfectly. However, the soles are very hard and uncomfortable to walk in. There is a layer of very thin foam (not memory foam) cushion, but it does not provide any comfort. The sole underneath that thin cushion is very hard and hurt my feet when I walked. I wish they had a comfort sole, because they are super cute, as I stated. I returned them. I'll keep my eye on these shoes to see if the manufacturer does anything to improve comfort, in the future. If so, I will re-order.I read all of the good reviews and I was a little hesitant on reviews. These are amazing!!! I wear these a lot and will never give them up. They do run big I purchased a 6.5 and they were too big but I just made the straps tighter and they work perfectly!Shoe feels comfortable but too big at the front. I thought I bought too big of a size but my foot length is fine. Strap is comfortable. Keeps shoe from coming off but moves too much for me to wear for long periods. :( sad cuz they are super cute.Cute and comfy shoe for a great price! They are light but sturdy. Still comfy even after a couple hours of being on my feet and walking a ton.It's really cute and seems good quality but runs way too large. I'm usually a size 6.5 and I got this in two sizes (6.5, 6) and both were too big on me. Definitely for wider feet. I feel like a 5.5 would've been too short in length but too wide and roomy. Had to return unfortunately
